What is the maximum number of guests we can have?
The Lecture Theatre can hold up to 110 people, and you could have more guests at your event if the Courtyard or any other rooms are also booked.
What are the sizes of the rooms?
The Lecture Theatre can accommodate up to 110 depending on the arrangement (9m x 2.2m).
The Lecture Threatre lobby is 5.7m x 5m.
The Barbara Olisa Room can accommodate 20 people (5m x 2.3m).
The Courtyard can accommodate 150 people.
Does the building have step-free access?
The building is fully accessible with lifts from street level, and from the Courtyard, to the Lecture Theatre.
What are nearby parking facilities like?
There is one accessible parking space on the site and free weekend parking available located on nearby residential streets.
Is the Courtyard covered?
A stretch tent can be hired directly from The Stretch Tent Company, who have a custom canvas for the space.
Do you offer catering for events?
We are unable to provide catering for any events, however there is a cafe on site that can cater for your event.
Can we have live music at our event?
Yes. You can have live music playing at your event. Southwark Council allows live music to be played until 10.00pm.
Can we come in the day before and set up?
Yes, let us know what time you intend to come and we can accommodate you setting up the day before.
