Supporting the community

29 Peckham Road and Thames Reach

29 Peckham Road is home to Thames Reach, a charity that has been working since 1984 to end street homelessness in London.

As well as running hostels and helping people sleeping rough to come off the streets, a key part of the charity’s work is in providing training and employment opportunities to formerly homeless and vulnerable people.

Sustainable employment is vital in making sure people are able to move away from homelessness for good. Thames Reach runs its Employment Academy from 29 Peckham Road, where it provides access to training, such as Maths and IT skills, and helps people to find suitable work.

When you book a room or an event at 29 Peckham Road, you will be helping to fund this vital work, and play a role in helping some of the most vulnerable people in our community to learn new skills, find work, and live more fulfilling and independent lives.
